Caterpillars (0-2) topics may include colours, animals and types of transport. These are essentially anything basic to advance knowledge and language skills. The children may be encouraged to dress in a particular colour for the day, for example.

Butterflies (2-5) will have more advanced topics, such as festivals or "people who help us". In the course of the latter topic we have guests in to speak to the children. Recently these have included a fireman, policeman and a dentist.
